Guiding Principles

One can function freely and totally if he is "beyond system". The man who is really serious, with the urge to find out what truth is, has no style at all. He lives only in what is.

- Bruce Lee

Jeff is confronted by two attackers. He begins to move to his left to flank the attackers, so he can't be surrounded.

As Jeremy advances Jeff intercepts his forward movement with a stop kick to the knee, taking him down. Steve begins to throw a wide hook.

Jeff intercepts Steve's hook with a lead punch...

...then applies the rear elbow

...and finishes with a rear knee to the groin

Jeff escapes safely.

Principles Used:
  • Interception
  • Longest weapon to the closest target
  • Simple, direct and economical movements
  • Strong side forward
  • Adaptability
